Daniel Mietchen

Hi, I am a biophysicist interested in open research , particularly in exploring how public version histories and forkability could help to move science forward, as explained in Wiki for Open Research.

I am currently working for the U.S. National Institutes of Health , focusing on how research workflows can be made more efficient through open approaches, as outlined in my notes on GitHub .

In my spare time, I am an active contributor to Wikimedia projects (especially Wikidata, Wikipedia and Wikimedia Commons). I also serve as an editor for several scholarly journals, most notably Research Ideas and Outcomes (RIO) .

More about me via Wikipedia .
